These wool hats are standard issue on all William Ellery Expeditions. They provide the crew with regulated warmth even in wet conditions, and provide safe visibility of each member at a greater distance. Peruvian Highland Wool comes from a sheep crossbreed of Corridale and Merino. These sheep live in the Peruvian Highlands 2000m above sea level.
